As a department we can appoint each staff member to be responsible for a student(s) by guiding them in the direction of their career in line with the student's interests and capabilities. The staff member as a mentor will also be responsible for referring the student to student affairs if there is a need for counseling. The mentor will also assist in line with guiding those students who carry courses to make sure that they will not be doing part one courses when they are supposed to be focusing on part four courses and thesis.
