Biography
<p>She is an accomplished scientist/innovator and lecturer specializing in Animal Breeding and Biotechnology. She holds a Master’s Degree in Animal Breeding and Biotechnology and has a strong background in agricultural sciences. Her passion for sustainable agriculture, community development and conservation has driven her to work extensively with smallholder farmers, advancing animal productivity.</p>
<p>She has conducted research in reproductive technologies, particularly artificial insemination in indigenous livestock, which earned her national recognition and patents in Zimbabwe and Botswana, as well as research focusing on the genomics of heat tolerance using bioinformatic tools. Her work integrates biotechnology and Artificial Intelligence to address climate resilience and sustainable livestock systems. She is also an advocate for gender equality, youth empowerment, and capacity building through training and mentorship in scientific research.</p>
